Edwinna and Jamey have been married for 14 years (1997) and met at North Central Bible College. They have served together in ministry for 15 years. Soon they aren't bumping heads, but lips. There are some ups and downs, especially when Naomi has some issues with her job and her daughter.  That doesn't stop her from running after something that was going right.

Jonathan David Buck married Danette Jackson in 2007. Jonathan is better known as Jon B, an R&B singer and songwriter. According to Wikipedia, Jon describes Danette by saying,  "She's not in the music industry. She's just a regular girl. It's cool because she's old-fashioned. I love her." Bronwen and Richard met in December 2009 and went on one amazing date... then he dropped the ball completely, and they didn't see one another again until February 2010. After breaking every 'how to make him a boy like you' rule, Bronwen went out with him again, and they were instantly inseparable. They share a love of live music, hockey, travel and tattoos. Richard proposed in July 2011 (wearing a kilt, in the pub where they first met) and they are planning their wedding for September 2012. She's a non-profit writer and he's a fulfillment specialist and student studying cardiac sonography. Together they are raising a betafish named LJ, a hedgehog named Annabelle and a stuffed giraffe named Riley.

My Comments: We all know for some being in an interracial relationship can be challenging, adding a blended family of six kids and long distance and all I can say is more power to you both!

TV: Dr. Lanie Parish and Javier Esposito

Dr. Lanie Parish (played by Tamala Jones) is in a hot and heavy relationship with cop Javier Esposito (played by Jon Huertas).  Lanie can see the tension between her friend Kate Beckett and Kate's best selling author charge, Richard Castle, and hopes she can influence Kate into action...by example. She's probably so happy with her own relationship that she needs to see her friend happy as well. But this is TV land, and happiness doesn't keep an audience so you'll need to stay tuned. Three Years!

I've had this blog for three years now (Wow, I thought it was two!) and from the feedback I've received, I know I'm not the only one who enjoys it. That makes me a happy blogger. :o)

I really tried over the year to even out the posts and put in a variety of different couples from television & movie couples, celebrity couples, and Just Us. Sometimes it was hard to strike a balance, like this past summer. My email was flooded with pictures of wonderful couples and I just had to post them all!

Many people have asked me to post a picture of me and mine, and I eventually promised that I would so somewhere in the last two years of couples is mine. You can speculate as much as you'd like but I won't give a definitive answer.

I will continue to keep up the blog as long as I am able. My email remains the same (not put directly in any text to avoid spam and bots.) I refuse to put posts that will cause arguments and disruption - this is a peaceful blog. There are plenty of other places on the Internet to throw out opinions that incite.

Finally, a big thank you all of you who have placed Just Like Me Couples in your Blogrolls or who have clicked on the button to follow. I truly appreciate your support.

My Comments: Researching for this entry was interesting. First, Wikipedia does not mention any of Wolfgang's wives, much less Gelila. Second, the IMDb entry incorrectly lists one child for the couple. Third, there are numerous articles and comments out there maligning the relationship due to the way they met. According to many, Wolfgang started an intimate relationship with Gelila while still married to his second wife.

Just a reminder, the focus of my blog is to post couples, not to judge their life choices. That I leave up to you.
