An African-American woman Arlene Elshinnawy was the daughter of Caribbean immigrants. She married to a Middle Eastern man Abdelfattah Elshinnawy.
This is not the first time a white man married to an African Muslim Woman. Jan Van Salee, a white man and an African Muslim woman got married and their descendants exist to this day, like Humphrey Bogart, John Hammond, Vanderbilts, Whitneys, and Anderson Cooper.
I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to say. Are you sharing a couple I should feature? It sounds like you're trying to prove something, but I'm not sure what. Maybe you could clarify.

What you shared was very interesting, but not in any way supportive of the purpose of my page. I wanted to celebrate people who look like my husband and I, not a history lesson.Just as a heads up for others (and other similar comments I've published here) I would love to hear and see pictures of other couples as I've described in my posts. When things in my personal life slow down a little, I hope to widen that net to other everyday people.I apologize if I'm not showing enough appreciation for these posts, but they detract from the purpose of my site.
Trivial as well: Iman does have another daughter, Zulekha (born 1978) from her second marriage, to NBA star Spencer Haywood.
