Katherine Dunham and John Pratt

Katherine Mary Dunham married John Thomas Pratt in the summer. There are differing dates on the year, Wiki lists both 1939 or 1941, while their adopted daughter Marie-Christine says it was 1949.

Katherine, who passed in 2006, was an American dancer, choreographer, songwriter, author, educator, and activist. John, who passed in 1986, was a costume and theatrical set designer.
