Dr. Naomi Bennett (played by Audra MacDonald) meets Dr. Gabriel Fife (played by Michael Patrick Thornton) by bumping heads over a procedure. Naomi is an ob/gyn and Gabriel is a genetic specialist and the two disagree over a couple of patients. Soon they aren't bumping heads, but lips. There are some ups and downs, especially when Naomi has some issues with her job and her daughter. That doesn't stop her from running after something that was going right.
This couple no longer on Private Practice, on ABC, as the two moved to New York at the end of Season Four.
While I applaud the find, I always found Fife to be totally creepy. Nothing to do with the wheelchair, he was just lurky and weird and dressed like a Chucky doll.
