Count Ferdinand and Countess Mary Von Habsburg


Count Ferdinand Leopold Joseph and Countess Mary Von Habsburg (born Mary Nyanut Ring Machar) of Austria were married in 1999. They have three children and live in Nairobi.

There are a lot of trees out there outlining the Habsburgs, but nothing about the family specifically except for this blog post.

    It is very unusual for a member of a European royalty marrying to a woman from Africa! All it matters is character.

    I guess Otto von Habsburg is smart enough to realize that a little genetic diversity can help to prevent the Habsburgs from becoming chinless wonders again.
